Debbie School Tour

The impact of environmental acoustics paired with hearing assistive technology (HAT) significantly changes the way a student who is deaf/hard of hearing accesses their environment. During this tour of the Debbie School located at the University of Miami, we explore the different acoustic environments that are designed specifically for students using HAT to better access speech and language throughout their educational environment.
