RMTC-D/HH reviews the fourth essential principle, "Early language development is critical to cognition, literacy, and academic achievement." from the Optimizing Outcomes for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Educational Service Guidelines. Followed by RMTC-D/HH's presentation the panel of experts, Jennifer Cato from FSDB Parent-Infant Program, Laura Chinloy from Miami-Dade Public Schools, and Geeta Shandilya from Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech share strategies and experiences to further exemplify how early language is critical for students' success.
