Resource Materials and Technology Center for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Teacher at a professional development talking about materials

RMTC-D/HH provides professional development opportunities to school district personnel, including teachers of the deaf and other professionals working with students who are deaf/hard of hearing based on state initiatives, needs assessment, and by school or district request. Opportunities may be provided through face-to-face opportunities, as well as through online learning modules, webinars, or virtual meetings and presentations.

If you wish to earn in-service credits towards the renewal of a Florida Educator’s Certificate, it is recommended that you contact your school district’s professional development office BEFORE beginning a course or training to verify the requirements you must fulfill. RMTC-D/HH does NOT provide CEUs.

FDLRS Impact Database

For some professional development opportunities, RMTC-D/HH will use the FDLRS Impact Database (FID) to collect and analyze data.

The FDLRS Impact Database (FID) was developed to support the implementation of strategies learned and skills gained from professional development events and courses. RMTC-D/HH will provide the participant with a specific URL that corresponds with the event.

Visit the FID web page to find tutorial videos that can help you to create an account, set up and edit your data, and access your data.

If you have recently viewed an archived webinar on the RMTC-D/HH website or recently attended a virtual session with RMTC-D/HH staff, use the button below to receive a certificate of completion.
