High-Leverage Practices (HLPs)

In partnership with the Collaboration for Effective Educator Development, Accountability and Reform (CEEDAR), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) has developed and published a set of high-leverage practices (HLPs) for educators of students with disabilities.

RMTC-D/HH has developed videos that correlate to these HLPs and how they relate to students who are deaf/hard of hearing (DHH). Featured are the HLPs in the social/emotional/behavioral area of practice of the publication High-Leverage Practices in Special Education.
